The 123rd battle for the Old, Oaken Bucket as the Purdue Boilermakers host the Indiana Hoosiers in West Lafayette. This was the final regular season game for both teams and the win helped improve Purdue's bowl selection stock.  
Purdue starts the game off strong with a 13-play, 75 yard touchdown drive. The Hoosiers didn't waste their first possession and drove the field 75 yards themselves in 11 plays to tie things up at 7. While neither team scored on their next possessions, the Boilers came alive in the 2nd and scored a touchdown and a field goal. As both teams went into the locker room at the half, Purdue led 17-7.
Purdue came out and dominated in the second half with their first four drives in the second half all ending in touchdowns. The defense stepped up as well causing 4 punts and grabbing an interception to seal the victory, and the bucket, 44-7.
