The 124th battle for the Old Oaken Bucket between Indiana University and Purdue University in Bloomington, IN. Fast start for the Hoosiers who were able to move the ball up and down the field with some ease in the first quarter. The Boilermaker defense did not seem to have any answers until Indiana's QB. Dexter Williams II, went down with a leg injury. Both teams were flat until the second half when Purdue's offense came alive with a pass and catch TD between Aiden O'Connell and Payne Durham. The Boilers Mockobee added to the excitement with a 27 TD yard run. Purdue never looked back from there adding on another passing TD and a defense pick 6 from Cory Trice to finish the game 30-16.

With this win, Purdue captured the Big 10 West Championship for the first time!
